Belatedly Waltham Forest Liberal Democrat Councillors have joined Leyton MP, John Cryer, demanding the return of two fire engines removed during the recent industrial action by London firefighters.
What both parties have failed to realise is that Waltham Forest Council has a representative, paid £7,750 a year, sitting on the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority – Cllr Liaquat Ali.
The Truth Will Out team demands Cllr Ali earns his allowance, provided by us tax payers, and publicly report what he has done as a member of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority to get these vital assets back.
